On this series of photographic works, Shelton reconstructs this tudor rose out of materials drawn from his life experiences. The places, people and events that mark his creative journey emerge in the details of these images.
 
Cigarettes: Even the rubbish of day-to-day life can reveal a certain beauty.  In this work, the casual act of stubbing out a cigarette is transformed into a formal, almost ritualistic image.
